Class Expectations
Wow cards are handed out to a dancer who shows spirit, dedication, teamwork, progress and creativity. The dancer can put their name on the card and enter to win a water bottle or WAPA t-shirt each month.
Our Level classes are by age and anyone can join at anytime, there are no prerequisites to each level. Our Accelerated program is by invitation only and anyone can audition for the En Avant or Half Day Programs either by attending the Audition in June or by contacting the studio and taking a class.
Please be sure to review our withdrawal policy in the parent portal. There is a withdrawal fee if you leave class before the end of your session or season.
Families registered in the Accelerated Program os ISTD Contemporary Modern Grade 3 and up need to be prepared to participate in, and pay for, a school exam during each dance season
Faculty will decide who is ready for which kind of exam each season. The higher levels of ballet can often take 2 years to complete.
Students wishing to take only one ballet class per week are asked to attend Levels 1,2,3 or 4
The fee structure is posted on the registration page and all fees are due in at the beginning of the season along with costume and registration fees. The costume fee is non-refundable.
Please notify Ms Dana of any schedule conflicts, illnesses/injuries, issues or concerns immediately at info@wapa.dance
Dancers are expected to wear their proper uniform to every class (hair included)
Shows: dancers need to participate in the classes leading up to the shows and the spacing rehearsal before each performance to perform in the performance. If 4 or more classes are missed two months before the show participation will be reviewed and decided by WAPA
