We do have a class for beginners! Ballet/Contemporary 4
WAPA’s Higher Grades classes transition dancers into elevated training. Working to develop the artistry and quality of movement along side technique challenges.
Higher Grades Contemporary Modern is a fusion of Limon, Horton and Improvisational techniques. Choreography Composition will also be touched on in class.
Fees are calculated by hours per week and can be found on the pricing page of this website.
June Show Fees due Nov 1 per genre: $100 Costume + $20 photos fees

Uniforms
WAPA uniform bodysuits and tights are purchased through the studio. Dance shoes are purchased at Stretch Dance Shop at Uptown
Dancers can wear whichever uniform aligns with them.
Ballet:
Female Identifying Uniform: ballet bun, studio black bodysuit, ballet tights & canvas slippers matching skin tone or ballet pink, pointe shoes to be purchased when teacher approves, Grade 6 & 7 Ballet - studio black sheer shirt, studio character skirt, sheer scarf
Male Identifying Uniform: hair off face, studio black shirt, studio black shorts, black socks, black canvas ballet slippers, black jazz shoes for character work
Modern - Jazz - Acrobatics - Tap:
Female Identifying Uniform: hair off face in ponytail, studio black bodysuit, studio black shorts, bare feet or tap shoes
Male Identifying Uniform: hair off face, studio white shirt, studio black shorts, bare feet
Hip Hop:
Comfortable regular tee shirt (no crop tops), pants or sweatpants, clean inside runners, hair off face
