Our Level 5 classes respect the process of building dance technique in an individual and explorative way. The aim is to give space and time for each dancer to find their strengths and grow in their ability to implement constructive concepts.

Full Season Classes

All level 5 classes are full season classes from Sept-June with two shows, monthly fee, costume fee and WAPA uniform

Dance Styles Overview

Ballet: classical technique, new era learning methods

Contemporary Creative: natural movement with lots of creativity

Jazz: up beat pop music with jumps, turns and kicks

Acrobatics: a mix of gymnastics and dance

Hip Hop: find your groove to clean popular songs

Level 5 Full Season Classes

Mondays

  • 4-5pm Ballet + Contemporary Basics ages 9+

    for beginners who have not taken dance before

  • 5-6pm Acrobatics + Jazz Basics ages 9+

    for beginners who have not taken dance or acro before

Tuesdays

  • 5-6pm Acrobatics 5 ages 9

    must have 2 years acro experience and attend ballet or jazz to enter

  • 6-7pm Jazz 5 ages 9

    must have 2 years dance experience to enter

Wednesdays

  • 5-6pm Level Up Competition Class Ballet ages 7-10

Thursdays

  • 5-6pm Contemporary Modern 5+6 ages 9-10

    must have 2 years dance experience to enter

  • 6-7pm Ballet 5+6 ages 9-10

    must have 2 years of dance experience to enter

Full season classes:

Sept-June Monthly fees - 60 min class 76.75, see discounts on pricing page if taking multiple classes

Yearly Registration Fee per student 40.00

Uniforms

WAPA uniform bodysuits and tights are purchased through the studio on the uniform sale weekend in Sept or at the desk year round. Dance shoes are purchased from Stretch Dance Shop at Uptown or Toes N Taps Dance Shoppe at Cook st Village.

Dancers can wear whichever uniform aligns with them.

Ballet :

Female Identifying Uniform: hair in ballet bun, WAPA navy bodysuit, ballet tights & canvas ballet slippers matching your skin tone or ballet pink

Male Identifying Uniform: hair off face, white dance shirt, navy dance shorts, white socks, white ballet slippers

Modern - Jazz - Acrobatics - Dance & Sing:

Female Identifying Uniform: hair off face in ponytail, WAPA navy bodysuit, black yoga shorts, bare feet

Male Identifying Uniform: hair off face, white dance shirt, black dance shorts, bare feet

Hip Hop:

Comfortable regular tee shirt (no crop tops), pants or sweatpants, clean inside runners, hair off face
